Television Worth Talking About

Well hello everybody if you are reading this we already love you. Um, I Kianna had this idea to create a television review blog because I, A: watch a lot more television than you want to know [x] and B: I hope to be a correspondent on E! who writes about good television and complains about the Emmy's not being hosted by Neil Patrick Harris every year. As a sophomore in college it has taken me a long time to discover my true calling in life, up until freshman year I wanted to be the next pediatric surgeon like, Arizona Robbins except with two working legs and less emotional baggage, anyway I have recently discovered that television and film is my calling. Whether it's writing, directing, producing or even editing I'm prepared to attempt it all.

If you don't know Jenna you should get to know her. She is one of the most amazing and kind hearted people, who has ever touched my life. We are best friends and basically like sisters. Our friendship was introduced because of the little show that could One Tree Hill, which coincidentally is celebrating it's 10 year anniversary since the pilot aired back on September 23rd, 2003. Let's all pause a take a moment to remember such a beautiful show [x].  This is the ultimate reason as to why I created this blog and proposed the idea to Jenna. We communicated via twitter and gushed everyday about our love for Nathan & Haley, we then went to One Tree Hill filming together in Wilmington, North Carolina back in the summer of 2011 then again in October of the same year and we have been close ever since. By watching these shows and reviewing them I not only get to work on my writing skills but Jenna and I get to communicate with fans from all over the world. People watch television everyday, we know that. What's different now then say 15 years ago  is people BOND over television. We connect with not only the characters and the story-lines on screen but with the people who watch the same shows as we do and feel the same way as we do.

This blog will be full of television, fun and probably some bad jokes on my end. We will be talking about what we liked in each episode, what we didn't like, as well as our favourite quotes and key moments. There will be a comment section where you can discuss with not only us but other fans. We also have a Tumblr set up so you can contact us through there and let us know what's working. I ask for one thing please try not to start fandom wars, as part of the trifecta of teen dramas which had some of the most intense fandom wars I'd ever seen. Those shows being One Tree Hill, Vampire Diaries and Gossip ,Girl I know how heated things can get, but try to be respectful. Our favourite couples may be different from your favourite couples but let's stick together and have fun. We will also be doing an inspirational movie section where we recommend movies maybe one every two weeks our once a month. These films may not be huge blockbuster hits and most will be some you've never seen or heard of. I believe there are so many movies that the world has not seen because THAT actor isn't in it.

So yeah, this should be a lot of fun and thanks for embarking on this journey with us. Check back later tonight for my first review on my favourite show on television right now How I Met Your Mother.
